During this class we focus on the sensations in the postures - on how we feel in a posture rather than how we think we should look. Moving away from what our mind tells us about our practice, instead creating a stonger connection to our body.the class will end with focus on creating stillness and finding balance by first doing a full bodyscan followed by a guided meditation.
During this yin class we will focus on the yogic principle of non-attachement. By exploring this principle on the mat we create a deeper understanding that we can take with us out into the world, so that we start praticing it off the mat too.The practice will end with guided meditation with focus on the yogic principle of non-attchement through the lens of grattitude for all that already is in our lives.
During this gentle flow you can expect heart-openers, hip-openers and good dose of kindness focused towards... you guessed it: yourself! Moving with awereness and the breath, tuning into sensations and listening to our bodies. The practice willl end with a guided meditation that will focus our attention on cultivating self-love. Starting with a few minutes of pranayama, followed by the meditation.
During this class we will focus on cultivating equanimity. Equanimity is a state of calmness and composure, especially in a difficult situation. With this in mind we flow through postures, guided our breath. The practice will end with a guided meditation during whichwe try to step behind the waterfall of our thoughts, creating stillness and space for emotions to arrise.
During this class we will focus on moving mindfully in and out of postures, trying to stay in the moment and with every sensation. During Yin Yoga we not only hold postures for longer periods of time, each posture also targets different meridians (Traditional Chinese Medicine). The class is finished with a 10 minute meditation with mindfulness as its main focus.
