Hey! I’m originally from Scotland, but moved to the Netherlands in 2014 to work in medical research. While I was in this field I felt very stressed, as I’m sure many of you do in your jobs. I found myself relying more and more on my yoga practice for stress relief, mental clarity and balance, finding that I was happiest during my day when I was on my mat. I began to teach yoga classes to fellow researchers at my job. I then left that job and travelled to India to study yoga more deeply. I focus my own practice and my classes on movement and transition between poses. I have a scientific background in anatomy and cell biology so love trying to incorporate interesting things that I never knew I could do until I tried. I hope you’ll come along and try with me!
